Personal Stories about Desiderata
The gift is going to my daughter who is in the Marine Corps. When she was just a toddler, I read her the Desiderata many times as it was a favorite of mine. One day when I was reading it to her, I took a pause, and she continued to recite it ...she had memorized the entire poem! I think she was 3 years old. Now with the world in such turmoil and with my daughter turning 30 years of age.......more........
